Lets start with some card information.
Many of us love to use Tarot cards. They are a great too for even yourself when you feel stuck and need answers.
Everyone has different definitions for each card. There is no right or wrong way to read.
Here is my explanation of this card - feel free to post yours!
The aces are all more or less a commencement, new prospects, etc.
It means the commencement of that what is wished for, desired, and this is what man calls his happiness. It is the spark of the Ego demonstrated in the practice of daily life; and this is what may well be called the note of good, which also brings good luck to other people. So there is creative energy in this card. Not yet worked out into details, but originally decided and fairly sure to work out in the future in lucky events and prosperous happenings.
So there is promise in it and it is above all a card of good; of a new and prosperous beginning. It is like a bright spark. Even among very bad cards it is the bright spark of hope and good-will, though of course in such cases it may be too weak to conquer immediately (R).

lol Very appropriate card to start with considering the endeavor...
I use a deck that hardly has an association with Rider-Waite, but it was my first! I remember how the hand the handle the pentacle made me feel safe, almost like Spirit's hand holding my life within it. And my livelihood is cared for, held strong. The sign of the hand coming out of nowhere also speaks of faith to me, and surprise. And now thinking about it, makes me think of windfall. As well as there's not much going on in the background, so it also marks simplicity and truth. It is what it is, but yet the possibilities are bountiful.
Just a quick questions, has anybody had the experience of using the cards/images in your mind, but not physically to draw answers and understandings?
Blessed be, *~Melanie

Hello and Welcome Goddess - I too am Wiccan I love your explanation of the card! If I'm understanding your question, you mean if I'm doing a mediumship reading and I'm connecting through my mind's eye with the client. I will too see a card pop up in my minds eye that will pertain to the situation. So If my client has lost her husband due to his passing I will see the 3 of swords that tells me even though he has been gone 10 years, her grieving is still fresh. Blessed Be my Sister, Laura

Hi goddesswithinme, I get images of tarot and various oracle cards spontaneously when doing readings but also during the day when there is something I am guided to uderstand. To me, it feels like a zip file just opens and the info is right there even if the same card appears later the info I get isn't necessarily the same. I guess I think of it as spirit short-hand. Is that what you get?

Sometimes if I am doing a reading I will have a specific card pop into my head as part of the message I get.

Another interesting thing is to select a card that attracts you, and visualize yourself in the landscape of the card. Walk through the landscape. You will probably meet a spirit guide, or a helper in animal form, and have a chance to interact with these beings.
