This is the house of things hidden from view. Intuition, our dreams, our fears, subconscious mind, secrets, psychic events, hidden enemies, and internal pain and conflict. It is the house that covers psychological issues and helps us heal ourselves emotionally.
It also deals with charity to others and compassion.
The 12th house shows dreams, secrets, limitations, hidden resources or talents, frustration, hidden enemies, and addictions.
It is represented by the day dreaming,Pisces and Ruled by the planet that represents things hidden beneath murky waters, Neptune.

Yes, and what happens when the 12th house is Taurus, ruled by Venus, which is in Aquarius, and continually being hit by the latest eclipses?

Celeste, Your natal Venus is in Aquarius? What house is it in? (I would be guessing the 9th, but you know how house sizes can be and if you add in any interceptions it is a toss up to guess)

Actually it is my husband. He has Venus in Aquarius, in his 9th house. But it rules his 5th house, and his 12th house.
He has a terrible, tumultious time going on (he and I are splitting) and so I guess in all the havoc, there is some reliefe for him with that placement. Also, his 13 Capricorn Moon is being hit.
He's into the party scene.

Venus ruling the 5th house and the 12th house--yep, "It's Friday night . . . ."
Also, I think with it being in the 9th house, there will be come conscience involved, because I hate to say it, I am gonna rock his boat. Something I am not used to doing. I always put the other person first, and it has been to my detriment. I have my Saturn return this fall, so I am in for it, too. But with the grace of God, I will make it.
This is so much fun for me, talking these stars!!!
