My Poem: Children of Stardust

One of my older babies...hope you enjoy it!

CHILDREN OF STARDUST

We are born to the world,
children of stardust.

Galaxies glitter in our eyes.
Atomic spirits, reaching outwards,
seeking our place in the Universe.

Born of man, Heaven kissed,
stardust wraps our very soul.
We are the Earth, we are the stars,
we hold the key to all that was.

Created from a cosmic thought,
molded in the dreams of God.
Solar winds blow us onward,
passage marked by blinks of time.

All that is and all that will be,
all that's given mortal man...
Held in finite beauty
by children of stardust.
